In the spirit of full disclosure, I have no idea what Allen would go on to say from there if not interrupted :).
It's a minor detail but I thought showing that Ashley knows about Allen's dad (even if it slipped her mind as she's caught up in her own issues) would help show the level of friendly relationship they have. Its one of those things that make sense to me as the creator but I always worry the reader might not pick up on bits like that. Any thoughts?
It works. This whole page seem (and I mean this in a good way) very One Tree Hill. Protagonist and Love Interest A talk then Love Interest B interupts says her quip, then we cut to commercial.
Thanks man, you hit the nail on the head with the One Tree Hill comment. I’ve always tried to give the comic the feel of a Dawson’s Creek or One Tree Hill-type teen drama/soap opera, except with superpowers :).
Wow…just wow…they’re talking about her father issues, then Allen’s dead father comes into the conversation, now Carrie’s walking in pissed about Allen ignoring her. It’s official. This is the most awkward moment in a webcomic. Ever. And I love it.

I really like that. Very cool!

Awkward…
Would you expect anything less from the first time all three characters appear together in the same scene :).
just a drop by, saying it’s cool.
started from the start, tuning in every now and then to see what’s up
peace
Thanks for dropping by and checking the comic out. Feel free to let me know what you think about anything, I always appreciate the feedback!

Thanks man, any time I can push the envelop of awkwardness to newlevels I know I’ve done a good job!
